Acetylene

The use of acetylene must be minimised, and alternative cutting and welding methods should be employed whenever possible.

If the use of acetylene is unavoidable, the number of cylinders onsite must be kept to an absolute minimum.

Acetylene cylinders must not be stored onsite overnight; they should be removed daily or immediately after use.
