Operators must hold a recognised certificate of training, i.e. CPCS, IPAF etc.

All plant must be maintained in good, working order

Where employees are carried, equipment must be suitable for that purpose

Rollover protection systems must be used

Dumpers are forbidden to travel on non-engineered stockpiles.

Use of cabbed dumpers is to be encouraged.

Where seat belts are provided, they must be worn properly at all times the machine is in use

A safe bucket changing area must be provided

Operators must be fully conversant with the current PAVES plan and rules
